Know Centre' strategy to pass Citizenship Amendment Bill in Rajya Sabha| Master Stroke

After getting the numbers in the lower house, the government is all geared up to get the bill passed in the Rajya Sabha also. Due to the Amit Shah’s detailed groundwork and floor management, it is expected that the bill will get the consent of the Upper house as the arithmetic seems to be in favour of the same.
If CAB is passed in both houses of Parliament and notified in the Gazette of India, the Citizenship Act, 1955 will stand amended.
