Weather Update: Heavy Rainfall Hits Gujarat, Watch Big Updates Of The Hour Only On ABP News

On Friday, July 19, Gujarat experienced intense rainfall in the districts of Porbandar, Junagadh, and Devbhoomi Dwarka. By 6 PM, the region had seen significant precipitation over the past 36 hours, with Porbandar Taluka receiving a staggering 565 millimeters of rain. The Meteorological Department has forecasted continued heavy rainfall in Porbandar over the next four days. The heavy downpour has led to widespread flooding in various areas, causing severe disruptions. Roads, bridges, and underpasses have been closed due to the inundation, significantly affecting transportation and causing numerous difficulties for residents. According to data released by the State Emergency Operations Center, Porbandar Taluka in the Saurashtra region has recorded the highest rainfall of 565 mm during this period. The ongoing weather conditions have led to traffic snarls and other challenges, with residents facing substantial disruptions to their daily lives due to the extensive flooding.
