RTO to conduct special checks after schoolboys caught triple riding in Tiruchirappalli

In Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, recent concerns have been raised over the safety of schoolboys who were observed riding motorcycles, some of whom were seen triple riding on July 15th. This alarming behavior has prompted action from the Regional Transport Office (RTO). Speaking to ANI, RTO officer Kumar expressed grave concern over the students' reckless riding habits, particularly during school hours. "These students are riding their vehicles in a very dangerous manner during school hours," Kumar emphasized. "In response to this issue, we will be conducting special checks on these roads with our Motor Vehicle Inspectors. It's crucial to address this issue promptly to prevent any unfortunate incidents." Highlighting the role of parental responsibility in ensuring safe riding practices, Kumar stressed that parents also bear accountability for their children's conduct on the roads. The RTO's initiative underscores the importance of enforcing traffic regulations and promoting road safety education among students and their families. This incident serves as a reminder of the critical need for vigilance and enforcement of traffic rules to safeguard young riders and prevent accidents on Tiruchirappalli's roads.
