Rakesh Asthana appointment: Ram Niwas Goel expresses displeasure

The leaders of the Opposition seem unhappy with the appointment of former CBI special director Rakesh Asthana as Delhi Police Commissioner just four days before his retirement. They said it was against the Supreme Court judgment, which stated that no officer who has less than six months to retire should be appointed as a police chief.

Ram Niwas Goel spoke exclusively to ABP and expressed his displeasure over this decision and said that the same will be discussed during the Delhi assembly session.
