Punjab: Farmers agitation against Agrarian laws intensifies
The 'Rail Roko' movement of farmers in Punjab continued even on the fifth day and they announced the extension of the demonstrations till October 2. The protesters have been sitting on the rail tracks in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Mukerian, and Ferozepur since September 24 under the banner of the Kisan-Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti.
