Nilgiris Tourist Police has introduced QR code-based maps for Tourist's personal interest | ABP News
More than 30 lakh tourists visit the hill town of Nilgiris every year, with 10 lakh people coming during the peak summer season of April and May alone. In order to manage traffic, the tourism police wing of Nilgiris district has introduced QR code maps. Tourists can use the QR code to find places of interest. Apart from this all the vehicles entering the Nilgiris will need to mandatorily get an e-pass to enter the district from May 7 to June 30.
