Modi's Karnataka visit : 'Congress digging my grave' : PM Modi

After inaugurating the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway and laying the foundation stone for Mysuru-Kushalnagar four-lane highway, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday said that before 2014, Congress at the Centre looted money allocated for poor and they have left no stone unturned to ruin the lives of poor in the country.

"Before 2014, the Congress govt at the Centre left no stone unturned to ruin poor people. Congress govt looted the money which was for poor people," PM Modi said as quoted by news agency ANI.

He further said that on the flip side, in the last nine years houses were built for over 3 crore people under which lakhs of houses were given away to the poor in Karnataka. "Under Jal Jeevan Mission, tap water has also been provided to 40 lakh families in Karnataka," he said.
