Modi govt decides to withdraw 72 companies of CAPFs from Jammu and Kashmir
The Narendra Modi government has decided to withdraw 72 companies of security forces from Jammu and Kashmir including 24 companies of CRPF and 12 companies of BSF, CISF and ITBP each. The action will be undertaken before new year. The 12 companies of SSB will also be called off from the state. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting conducted in Delhi under the chairmanship of NSA Ajit Doval. Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with UT's Governor and Home Secretary were also present in the meeting
