As Mahakumbh 2025 approaches, Prayagraj is witnessing severe traffic congestion, making it increasingly difficult for devotees to reach the pilgrimage site. With lakhs of people arriving daily, roads are choked with vehicles, leading to long delays and frustration among travelers. The overwhelming rush has caused gridlocks in multiple areas, disrupting normal movement across the city.In response to the situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stepped in to review the Mahakumbh arrangements. He held a high-level meeting with police and administrative officials, instructing them to implement strict crowd control measures. Special directives were issued to maintain heightened security and ensure smooth traffic flow, especially on Magh Purnima, when an even larger influx of pilgrims is expected.Authorities have been asked to deploy additional personnel, improve road management, and provide alternative transport arrangements to ease congestion. The administration is working on streamlining movement at key entry points to ensure that devotees can reach the holy site without unnecessary hardships. With only days left for the grand event, officials are on high alert to prevent further disruptions and ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
