Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj will witness Congress leader Ujjwal Raman Singh going up against Bharatiya Janata Party's Neeraj Tripathi. 

 Congress candidate from Allahabad seat Ujjwal Raman Singh is the son of senior Samajwadi Party leader Kunwar Rewati Raman Singh. He was a cabinet minister in the Mulayam Singh Yadav government and also a rank minister in the Akhilesh Yadav government. Ujjwal Raman Singh was elected MLA on the SP ticket in 2004 and 2017. Even though his son has joined the Congress, his father Kunwar Revati Raman Singh is still in SP. Kunwar Revati Raman Singh is also seen campaigning for his son under the SP-Congress alliance in UP.
