Karnal: Challan to be issued for not installing straw management system on combine machines

Keeping the paddy season in mind, it is necessary to have a straw management system (SMS). Deputy Agricultural Director Dr. Aditya Pratap Dabas said that the owner of the combine should not be negligent in this and put SMS. 

If a farmer is found setting fire on crop residue, then action will be taken as per rules. The process of challan or impound will be implemented.
