J&K News: Security beefed up for Amarnath Yatra pilgrims after recent terror attacks | ABP News

Security for the ongoing Amarnath Yatra has been significantly increased, particularly around the Jammu base camp and along the National Highway, as of July 13. This heightened security comes in response to the recent terror attack on an army convoy in Kathua, as well as encounters in Doda and Udhampur. To ensure the safety of the pilgrims, special nakas and security checks have been established, and security forces are utilizing CCTV cameras to monitor movement closely. The reinforced security measures were evident as a fresh batch of pilgrims embarked on their journey to the Amarnath shrine on Saturday morning. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety and smooth passage of the devotees. These efforts reflect the commitment of the security forces to maintain peace and protect the pilgrims from potential threats. The increased vigilance and comprehensive security arrangements are crucial in fostering a safe and serene environment for the pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey.
