India needs to reduce imports and promote atamanirbharta: Rakesh Sinha

Rakesh Sinha was speaking over Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat's statement on Swadeshi. He said that Swadeshi did not necessarily mean boycotting foreign products.
Rakesh Sinha explained the meaning and added that being swadeshi meant to reduce the number of imports and promote self-reliance. He added, "It definitely does not mean to remain detached from the world's developments"
