IAS Pooja Khedkar's mother Manorama Khedkar brought to Pune for medical treatment after arrest

IAS Trainee Officer Pooja Khedkar's mother, Manorama Khedkar, was arrested by Pune Police for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm. Her arrest followed a viral video showing her waving a pistol at farmers in a Mulshi village land dispute. Another video showed her arguing with metro rail workers in Pune.

Pooja Khedkar faces accusations of fraudulently obtaining a 'locomotor disability' certificate to pass the UPSC exam and misusing privileges during her Pune tenure. She denies any wrongdoing, claiming defamation. Police are verifying her medical certificates. Following the viral video, cases were filed against Manorama, her husband Dilip Khedkar, and five others. Pooja's father defended her actions.
