Gyanvapi Row: Over 10 hrs of footage; more than 1000 photos; survey team likely to ask for more time
The Supreme Court is set to hear the management of the Gyanvapi mosque's appeal against the survey of the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday.
A Varanasi court on Monday ordered the district administration to seal the survey site inside the compound where the surveying crew purportedly discovered a'shivling.' A bench of Justices D Y Chandrachud and P S Narasimha will hear the case of the Committee of Management Anjuman Intezamia Masjid, which handles the operations of the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi, according to the Supreme Court's amended list of business for Tuesday.
