GHMC Polls: TRS wins 56 seats; BJP on number 2 with 49 seats
The results of the GHMC Polls have been declared. TRS has emerged as the largest party with 56 seats but is still far from majority. The Bharatiya Janata Party has gained second spot with 49 seats while AIMIM has been able to win just 43 seats this time.
The last municipal body election in Hyderabad was held in 2016. In this election, TRS got 99 seats, AIMIM 44, BJP four and Congress two.
