Delhi Excise Policy Case: BJP Leader Manoj Tiwari Slams AAP For Celebrating Kejriwal's Bail | ABP News

BJP Leader Manoj Tiwari slams Aam Aadmi Party workers over celebrating Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail. CM Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail on Thursday by the Rouse Avenue court in a money laundering case linked to the now-defunct excise policy. The court approved Kejriwal's bail application upon submission of a bond worth Rs 1 lakh. His legal representatives argued that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) lacked evidence against him.

The investigating agency had requested a 48-hour extension for Kejriwal to execute the bail bond, indicating their intent to challenge the verdict in a higher court. According to news agency ANI, citing sources, the ED plans to approach the Delhi High Court on Friday morning to contest the trial court's decision.
