Congress, CPM raise doubts over PM Modi's LAC intrusion remarks
Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to assure the nation that no one has occupied India's territory, it was a tough sell for Opposition parties like Congress and CPM.
Congress leader Manish Tewari tweeted, "PM has effectively redrawn India’s borders. He has validated Chinese position & contradicted his own External Affairs Minister."
CPM leader Sitaram Yechury also questioned PM Modi's statement, "Then there is no conflict? Why have our brave soldiers been martyred? Why this all-party meeting?"
