Brain tumor patient Saumya plays keyboard during surgery, comes out hale and hearty
Gwalior girl, Saumya, kept on playing the keyboard as doctors were busy removing the brain tumor. The 9-year-old was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few years ago and she underwent surgery to get rid of it. In order to do the surgery, the doctors opted for awake craniotomy. In this process, the patient is not given anesthesia and hence the patient remains awake throughout the surgery.
Brave Saumya kept on playing keyboard and sailed through successfully.
