BOC Director Gen Satyendra Prakash to get national award for increasing poll participation

Bureau of Outreach and Communication (BOC) Director-General Satyendra Prakash, while talking to ABP News, said that in a democracy like India, it is very important for the people to choose their representative by using their rights. He noted that his department has used both physical and virtual methods to aware people of the value of their voting rights. Satyendra Prakash has been chosen for the national award for increasing electoral participation by the Election Commission of India (ECI) through voter awareness and education efforts in 2021-22.
