Bihar and Assam face double whammy of floods and Covid-19

As monsoon takes the entire nation in its grips, Bihar and Assam, two states in the Ganga-Brahmaputra plains, have been reeling under the impacts of floods. Apart from the incessant rain and heavy downpour, the rush of water in the rivers flowing from Nepal and China have added to the flood level in these Indian states.
