Amphaan cyclone: PM Modi, WB CM Mamata conduct aerial survey
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conducted an aerial survey of the cyclone hit state. Due to the catastrophic impace of 'Amphaan', as many as 80 people lost their lives in the state. This is the first time in almost 83 days that PM Modi has left national capital and went to some other state. During his aerial survey, he was accompanied by Mamata Banerjee and West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
