After Tirath Rawat's Ripped-Jeans Statement, Now UP Minister Calls Burqa 'Evil Custom'

Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Anand Swaroop Shukla termed the burqa as "inhuman treatment and malpractices" and said that "Muslim women will also be liberated from the burqa" on the lines of 'tripple talaq' in the country. He described as an evil custom. Minister Shukla wrote a letter to the District Magistrate on Tuesday to control the sound of loudspeakers and remove loudspeakers in mosques located in Ballia.
