Afghanistan Crisis: Taliban is exactly the same even after 20 years, says Captain of Kandahar hi-jacked plane

India's first encounter with Taliban terrorists took place about 22 years ago from now. In 1999, when terrorists hijacked IC 814 and landed them in Kandahar, Afghanistan, the responsibility of providing security to those terrorists was on the shoulders of Taliban terrorists. Captain Devi Sharan, who flew IC 814, refreshed his memories, says, there is no significant difference between the Taliban of 1999 and the Taliban of today.
