Bihar Flood Update: A dam built on the Gandak river in Gopalganj district collapsed this week. Many villages were washed off due to the floods caused by this collapse. Floods in Bihar is not a new phenomenon, it happens every year. Every year, floods cause huge losses to human lives and property alike. Governments announce flood relief funds every year.
