Ground report from emergency landing strip in Barmer | Matrabhumi (09.09.2021)

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari recently inaugurated India's first airstrip on a national highway in Rajasthan's Barmer. This emergency landing area is strategically important from the national security point of view also as it is just 40 kilometres from the India-Pakistan border.
