Woman Recreates Deepika Padukone's 'Nagada Sang Dhol' Dance, Viral Video Has Ove 5 Million Views

A video of a woman dancing to Deepika Padukone's iconic song 'Nagada Sang Dhol' from the film 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' that also had Ranveer Singh in the lead role has gone viral on social media. The woman has recreated the traditional Gujarati folk dance called Garba, performed by Deepika in the song to perfection.
The video of the performance was shared on Instagram by a woman, named Kreethi. The clip opens to show the woman standing on a stage ready to perform wearing a similar outfit as Deepika had worn in the song. Soon she begins to dance on the song that plays in the background along with the video. As she dances and matches each steps to the song, the audience cheers and screams for her.
Since being shared, the video has garnered close to 6 million views, 757,958 likes and several comments praising the performance.
