Video Of Man Wearing A Shirt With Built-In Fan Goes Viral, Netizens Applaud Invention

The first thing that comes to our minds when thinking of Japan is innovation and technology. The country has once again captured people's attention as a video of an unique innovation from the island nation has gone viral on the internet. In the clip shared on the microblogging site Twitter, a civic employee in Japan is seen wearing a fan-equipped shirt. Yes, you heard that right.  

Twitter user @Rainmaker1973 in the post explains, "Japan is seeing the rapid spread of work clothes that aim to protect against heat. The fans attached to the clothes suck outside air, evaporating sweat, thereby releasing heat through vaporization and cooling the body".

These shirts are equipped in such a way that they are able to draw in outside air, leading to evaporation of sweat from the body.

Since being shared, the post has garnered a significant amount of attention. So far it has gained 6.1 million views, 37.6k like sand several comments.

"Oh wow! Wish they had those when I was working construction years ago...," commented one user after seeing the post.

Reiterating the same view another user wrote, "Starting to see those on more job sites every day. I wish I'd have had one during my more active overland days.  Holy crap that would have been awesome."

"Wow cool Is it rechargeable? Is it detachable?  Coz I'm wondering how are they going to wash it," wrote a third user.

"So this is how we’re going to deal with the climate crisis, huh? With air conditioned clothing. I suppose somebody will invent pants that double as life rafts, targeted to shoreline dwellers affected by rising water," commented a fourth.
