'Rs 1,500 Ka Pallu...': Delhi Police's Hilarious Video On Road Safety — WATCH
Delhi Police shared a hilarious video of a woman riding pillion without a helmet saying that her pallu was worth Rs 1500 and stated that the pallu might cause problem but a helmet won't.
Delhi Police, known for its witty responses and amusing social media posts once again used its X platform to sensitise people about road safety. On Monday, the police department posted a video that showed a woman in a saree riding a pillion while her dupatta was flowing. When a man in the video tried to caution her about it, she was seen smiling and replying that it was worth Rs 1500.
The man was further heard telling her that he was not asking her the price of her saree but was instead telling her to handle it with care rather than leaving it flowing while travelling on the road to avoid any mishap.
The video stops here after which the Delhi Police's message appears on the screen stating "Aapka lehrata pallu kahin aafat na khadi karde. Lekin ISI certified helmet aapko surakshit kar sakta hai," which means that "your flowing pallu might cause a problem for you but an ISI certified helmet will keep you safe."
The video message further stated that one must obey the traffic rules to maintain road safety because a Rs 1500 pallu will not save you but a helmet will.
