Telangana Minister KTR Pays Challan, Felicitates Traffic Police After Penalising Him
On October 2, KTR's vehicle had plied on the wrong route near Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad and the traffic police have issued challan against the minister
Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday met and felicitated the Traffic Sub Inspector Ilaiah & Constable Venkateshwarlu for doing their job sincerely. On October 2, Rao's vehicle had plied on the wrong route near Bapu Ghat here and the traffic police have issued challan against the minister.
Rao paid the challan issued against his vehicle and mentioned that he was not in the vehicle during the incident. The minister lauded the police personnel for showing sincerity towards their work. Despite knowing that it is minister's vehicle, they went on to penalise the vehicle.

Hyderabad City Commissioner, Anjani Kumar, hailed minister for his generous gesture of felicitating the police personnel besides paying off the challan. Taking to Twitter, Kumar said in a voice note, "A true leader is one who shows the correct path, leader is one who by setting example motivates us to be correct, a true leader is one who values the real meaning of democracy. If a state and country has to grow and grow fast, then, a culture of law abiding citizens is a must. Thank you sir, Honourable KCR garu for showing the correct path. You inspired us all."

To this appreciation from city commissioner, minister KTR replied saying: "Just doing my citizen duty CP garu."
