Hyderabad Police File Case Against BJP MLA Raja Singh For His ‘Bulldozer’ Remarks
The Election Commission has ordered that a case be registered against him.
Hyderabad: A case has been registered against Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh at the Mangalhat police station in Hyderabad. The Election Commission has issued notices seeking clarification on controversial remarks regarding the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. But Raja Singh ignored them.
The Election Commission has ordered that a case be registered against the BJP MLA.
Raja Singh recently released a video aimed at UP voters. In a video, he said, "Yogi has brought thousands of JCBs and bulldozers in UP. After the election, those who did not vote for Yogi will be identified in all areas. Do you know why thousands of JCBs and bulldozers are already coming towards UP?"
He further added that those who vote against Yogi must leave Uttar Pradesh.

The video has gone viral. complaints were lodged against the MLA with the Electoral Commission. ECI concluded that Raja Singh's comments violated the Model Code of Conduct.
Because Singh did not answer the Election Commission of India's show-cause notice, the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) was asked to file a case against him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Representation the People Act. The Assistant Chief Electoral Officer filed a complaint at Mangalhat police station, and a case was lodged.
The EC has barred Singh from holding any public meetings, processions, rallies, roadshows, interviews, or public comments in the media related to the ongoing elections for 72 hours.
