The stalwart leader who led the party to victory twice since the formation of the state in 2014, couldn't manage the same magic again this year. He met his party MLAs at his farmhouse in Erravalli on Dec 4, a day after the election results. IANS reported that he was seen chatting with the newly-elected MLAs of the party and also his former ministerial colleagues.
Former Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, former ministers T. Harish Rao, Mehmood Ali, Srinivas Goud, T. Srinivas Yadav, Malla Reddy, and Sabitha Indra Reddy among others met KCR at his farmhouse.
Notably, Congress swept the polls in the state by winning 64 seats while BRS, after its 10-year-rule, won only 39 seats. Telangana Congress Chief Revanth Reddy is the new state Chief Minister.
