Twitter Down For Several Users In India & Abroad, Second Outage In One Week

While some faced issues in sending tweets, several others had problems in checking comments on an existing tweet.

New Delhi: Micro-blogging site Twitter faced multiple outages on Thursday night after several users claimed to have received messages like "something went wrong" and "try again" on the screen on the website as well as the mobile app.

While some faced issues in sending tweets, several others had problems in checking comments on an existing tweet.

Some users also claimed that Twitter went down completely for them as they were unable to see their own tweets. The complete dashboard of the platform turned blank with the message "Something went wrong. Try reloading."

The outage was also reported downdetector - a platform that provides a realtime overview of issues and outages with all kinds of services.

There has been no official comment by Twitter on the issue so far.

This is not the first time that the microblogging platform has reported a technical glitch. Even on Friday (February 11), Twitter reported a similar outage after which the tech giant said that they fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and tweets from posting.

Later, Twitter Inc apologised for the technical nag and tweeted from its official support handle that things should be "back to normal now".
