Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Can The Budget Hero Outshine Its Premium Sibling? Find Out

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: We put the two phones side-by-side to see how the latest F-series upstart stacks up against its sleeker A-series cousin.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Samsung’s mid-year smartphone refresh has something for everyone — but what happens when the budget-friendly Galaxy F56 5G takes on the feature-packed Galaxy A56 5G? With a significant price gap of Rs 11,000, buyers are naturally curious: does paying more really get you that much more? We put the two phones side-by-side to see how the latest F-series upstart stacks up against its sleeker A-series cousin.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Design & Display

The Galaxy F56 5G keeps things sleek with a lightweight 180g frame, slightly slimmer build, and the same 6.74-inch Super AMOLED panel with a crisp 120Hz refresh rate. It’s an ever-so-slight edge over the A56’s 198g body and 6.7-inch screen — both with punch-hole cutouts and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

That said, the A56 counters with a more premium IP67 rating for water resistance and also includes NFC, a feature that’s missing on the F56. Both devices run on Android 15 with OneUI 7, offering Samsung's latest software perks.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Performance & Features

Under the hood, the Galaxy F56 runs on the Samsung Exynos 1480 chip, clocked at 2.7GHz. It’s slightly behind the A56, which flexes the Exynos 1580 with a faster 2.9GHz core. The A56 also features reverse charging and an enhanced AI suite branded as “Awesome Intelligence” with tools like Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Best Face.

That said, the F56 is no slouch. It packs the same 8GB RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, a smooth UI experience, and a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging — identical to the A56. Both phones ditch the headphone jack but retain stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for a wide range of 5G bands.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Cameras Compared

The Galaxy A56 wins on camera specs — slightly. It features a triple-lens setup with a 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro accompanying the main 50MP sensor, all backed by OIS.

Meanwhile, the F56 sticks to the essentials with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro camera alongside its 50MP main shooter. Both phones support 4K video at 30fps, and the 12MP front cameras match up in resolution — though the A56 enables 4K front recording, a feature trimmed from the F56.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Vs Samsung Galaxy A56: Final Verdict

If you’re chasing value without compromise, the Galaxy F56 5G makes a compelling case at Rs 27,999. It’s lighter, equally powerful in day-to-day use, and retains core Samsung features that matter — including AMOLED visuals, in-display security, and strong battery life.

However, if you’re after premium polish, better camera versatility, and extra software tools, the Galaxy A56 5G may justify its Rs 38,999 price tag for power users.

In the end, it’s not just a question of specs — it’s a choice between what you really need, and what you can live without.
