Oppo appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next budget-friendly 4G smartphone, the Oppo A5x. Ahead of any official announcement, a fresh leak has spilled the beans on the upcoming device’s core features, revealing design elements, key hardware, and some smart AI-driven tools. The details come via XpertPick in collaboration with noted tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who claims to have accessed the phone’s marketing materials (see below).
With certifications from bodies like FCC, EEC, TKDN, and GCF already in place, the Oppo A5x seems all set for launch across multiple regions. While earlier listings confirmed the handset would support 4G connectivity, the newly leaked data goes several steps further in painting a fuller picture.
Glossy Looks With Rugged Bones
According to the leak, the Oppo A5x will arrive with a glossy white or silver finish, featuring a soft pink and blue gradient, giving it a visually striking look. Despite the sleek exterior, Oppo has opted for a military-grade shock-resistant chassis, and the phone will also sport an IP65 rating for dust and water protection.
On the back, users can expect a dual-camera setup, flanked by dual LED flashes, while a side-mounted fingerprint sensor ensures biometric security.
Big Battery, Smooth Display
The A5x is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chipset, the same processor seen in the Oppo A3, A40M, and A5 Pro. What sets the A5x apart, though, is its massive 6,000mAh battery, promising long hours of use. The device will also support 45W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups.
The front will likely house a display capable of 1,000 nits brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate, which should offer smoother scrolling and better viewing under sunlight.

Interestingly, while there is no confirmation on whether the device will come with dual stereo speakers, Oppo is banking on what it calls a '300 percent Ultra Volume' feature, which promises significantly louder audio output.
