Key Features of iOS 18.2

Here are some features you must check out on iOS 18.2:

Image Playground: This tool allows users to create custom cartoon-style images based on text prompts. Additionally, the Image Wand feature refines rough Apple Pencil sketches into professional-looking images. The Genmoji editor, integrated into the standard emoji keyboard, gives users the ability to craft personalized emojis.

Writing Tools Enhancements: The latest update adds a new feature that lets users specify how they want their writing transformed by describing the changes they need, such as adjusting tone or style. It also introduces ChatGPT integration, offering a "Compose with ChatGPT" option within the Writing Tools suite.

Siri Gets Smarter: Siri can now delegate certain requests to ChatGPT if it can't handle them on its own, though users must provide explicit permission for this feature.

Visual Intelligence: Exclusive to iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, this feature allows users to activate a new camera viewfinder by long-pressing the Camera Control on the lock screen, enabling quick photo capture and detailed scene analysis.

These updates are also available to developers testing macOS 15.2 and iPadOS 18.2. While the official release date for iOS 18.2 hasn’t been announced, Apple has hinted that the public version should arrive before year’s end.

Additionally, iPhone users worldwide will soon be able to set new default apps for calling and messaging with iOS 18.2, according to a note from Apple on its developer site.
