Oppo F21 Pro, F21 Pro 5G Launched In India: Prices, Specs And More

Oppo on Tuesday refreshed its F series in India with the launch of Oppo F21 Pro and the Oppo F21 Pro 5G variant.

New Delhi: Handset maker Oppo on Tuesday refreshed its F series in India with the launch of Oppo F21 Pro and the Oppo F21 Pro 5G variant. The company also launched the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro TWS buds in the country. While the price of the Oppo F21 Pro in the country will start at Rs 22,999 for the 4G model, the 5G variant of the Oppo F21 Pro is priced at Rs 26,999 and the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro TWS earbuds will cost Rs 3,499.

The Oppo F21 Pro model will go on sale starting April 15 and the Oppo F21 Pro 5G will be available starting April 21. As per the company's initial launch offer, customers will get 10 per cent bank cashback and can also avail of a no-cost EMI payment option.

Oppo F21 Pro and Oppo F21 Pro 5G specs and features

Both the smartphones arrive with a rear camera setup of 64MP main shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The 2MP micro sensor in the Oppo F21 Pro is replaced by a 2MP macro sensor in the Oppo F21 Pro 5G model. The 5G variant's primary cameras have enhancement features such as AI scene enhancement that claims to optimise colour saturation and contrast in over 23 scenes, including birds, architecture, and food.

There is a Selfie HDR feature in both the Oppo F21 Pro and the F21 Pro 5G variant that detects background light and auto-adjusts to capture sharper and natural-looking selfies in dimly-lit or backlit surroundings, the company said. Both devices also feature the Bokeh Flare Portrait feature that blurs the background, and promises to boost bokeh light spots. The F21 Pro has a 32MP selfie camera while the 5G variant has a 16MP selfie sensor.

The Oppo F21 Pro 4G model is available in Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange colours while the 5G variant comes with the much talked-about Fiberglass-Leather design. It is also available in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colours.

“The Oppo F Series is defined by its unmatched performance and stylish, sleek design. Flaunt the ultra-slim eye-catching smartphone and capture your favourite memories in portrait," Damyant Singh Khanoria, Chief Marketing Officer, Oppo India, said in a statement.

Other features of the F21 Pro include 128GB storage, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, and a USB Type-C port for charging. A useful feature is ‘Smart Notification Hiding’ which will let the buyer hide notifications if someone else is looking at the screen when a new notification pops up on the screen. There is a 4,500mAh battery to power the phone paired with 33W SuperVOOC fast-charging.

The 5G model also includes features such as Bluetooth, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port.
