iPad 9th Gen Specifications

The iPad 9th generation boasts a 10.2-inch IPS LED Retina display, offering a crisp resolution of 2160 x 1620 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits, making it ideal for watching content or handling everyday tasks. It also features a dual microphone setup and stereo speakers to enhance video calls and media streaming experiences. The device is compatible with the 1st generation Apple Pencil, though it does not support the newer Apple Pencil models.

Powered by the A13 Bionic chipset, the same processor that runs the iPhone 11 series, the iPad 9th gen delivers reliable performance. However, it lacks support for Apple Intelligence features, which are found on newer iPad models equipped with the more advanced Apple M-series chips. Despite this, users can expect the iPad 9th gen to receive software updates for a few more years, with the iOS 18 stable version set to be included in future rollouts alongside other Apple devices.
