From Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge To OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition: 6 Phones That Charge Faster Than 100W
iQoo 9 Pro, Realme GT Neo 3, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and more to choose from.

A year ago, getting a phone that got fully charged in about an hour was considered to be fast. That definition has changed in recent times, and particularly in 2022. The year has seen charging speeds shoot from the mid-30W region to the 60W-and-above zone, and in some cases, the speeds have even gone into three figures. There are phones out there today that literally get charged in under half an hour, and a few that even go below the 20-minute mark.
Thankfully, this insanely super-fast charging tech is not restricted to a particular segment, but is available at different price points — ranging from the premium mid-segment to the premium flagship level. So, if you are a charging speed fanatic and want a smartphone that charges at over 100W, here are six options for you (and a 100W charger too, just in case).
Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge: The first and still the fastest
Price: Rs 26,999
This was the phone that started the whole "more-than-100W" charging phenomenon in India. It remains the most affordable option for anyone wanting to hop on to the super-fast charging bandwagon. It is the only device in this list which is not a flagship. That said, it is a smart looking handset with striking shades, straight sides, and a flat back. The specs are decent enough for a mid-segment phone: a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a good 108-megapixel main sensor with a decent 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper (the 2 megapixel macro is nominal, though), good stereo speakers, and powered by the very competent MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. It will not break gaming or processing benchmarks, but it is perhaps the fastest charging phone in the country. The phone’s 4,500mAh battery gets charged in under 20 minutes, thanks to its 120W HyperCharge feature and the 120W charger bundled in the box.
iQoo 9 Pro: The first fast-charging premium flagship
Price: Rs 69,990
The first premium flagship in the Indian market to offer three-figure fast charging speed is the iQoo 9 Pro. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and sports a brilliant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also sports an eye-catching design with racing-inspired stripes on the back, and a superb triple rear camera setup, spearheaded by two 50 megapixel sensors, one of which comes with Vivo's special Gimbal stabilisation, and a noteworthy 16-megapixel telephoto snapper. It packs a 4,700mAh battery struggles to get past a day of normal use if you kept the display resolution maxed out. However, it can recharge in a jiffy, thanks to the FlashCharge 120W charger bundled in the box. It could charge the phone within 20-25 minutes, making it one of the fastest charging premium flagships around. The Xiaomi 12 Pro (also in this list) charges slightly faster but has a slightly smaller battery.
Xiaomi 11T Pro: The big battery, fast charging budget flagship
Price: Rs 38,999
One of the curious things about phones that feature super-fast charging is the fact that they tend to come with slightly smaller batteries (generally around 4,500mAh). The Xiaomi 11T Pro is an exception to this. It is the only phone in this list which comes with what can be called a large battery — a 5,000mAh one at that. Just like the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, it too comes with 120W HyperCharge feature and a 120W charger in the box. It charges that enormous battery in about 25-30 minutes, which is very impressive indeed. In other regards, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is a typical budget flagship, with a super 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a good rear camera setup, comprising a 108-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a surprisingly handy 5-megapixel telephoto sensor. It is powered by the flagship chip of 2021 — Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 — and is perhaps the best value-for-money device for anyone who wants super-fast charging with flagship level performance… and a big battery.
OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition: Beating the Pro in charging speed
Price: Rs 43,999
The OnePlus 10R is the gaming-centric member of the OnePlus 10 family. It is also the most affordable and comes with a very different design — stripes on the back flowing from the camera unit, and surprisingly no alert slider (a OnePlus staple). In terms of specs, it is a clear step down from the mighty OnePlus10 Pro, although you do get a 6.67-inch full-HD+ fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a staggering 1,000Hz touch response, along with a fair deal of processing muscle from a special variant of the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 process — the Dimensity 8100 Max. Camera duties are handled by a 50-megapixel main sensor, flanked by a handy 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a less-than-handy 2-megapixel macro sensor. You get two charging variants of the OnePlus 10R: the SuperVOOC version has a 5,000mAh battery and 80W charging, but it is the Endurance Edition that will set the pulses of fast-charging fans racing. The Endurance Edition comes with support for 150W SuperVOOC charging and the 150W charger bundled in the box will charge the 4,500mAh battery in a little over 20 minutes. That is something that even the mighty OnePlus 10 Pro cannot boast of.
Realme GT Neo 3: OnePlus 10R clone and global speed demon
Price: Rs 42,999
This is the phone that brought 150W charging to the world stage and is now available in India. It is the third phone in this list to have stripes on the back, although in its case, it claims to be inspired by Le Mans racing, and its Blue variant will surely turn heads. The spec list is similar to that of the OnePlus 10R, leading to mutterings of "rebrand" in some quarters — a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 (but not a Max) chip, and a triple rear camera arrangement that comprises a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a token 2-megapixel macro snapper. Like the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3 also has two variants — one which charges a 5,000mAh battery at a "slow" 80W speed, and another that charges a smaller 4,500mAh battery at 150W speed. The charging technology here is called SuperDart Charge and the 150W charger in the box juices up the phone fully in about 20-25 minutes.
Xiaomi 12 Pro: Charging speed is the bigger showstopper
Price: Rs 62,999
Xiaomi's latest premium flagship has been marketed in India for its elegant appearance and a triple 50-megapixel camera arrangement, but its support for HyperCharge is the feather in a rather well-specced cap. It is only the second phone in the country (apart from the iQoo 9 Pro) to boast of a super-fast charging combined with a 2K 6.73-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It is also the first phone to boast of a quad speaker lineup. It packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for HyperCharge. A 120W charger gets it from zero to full in a bit over twenty minutes. And that is great, because just as in the case of the iQoo 9 Pro, if you keep the display at its maximum resolution, that battery will drain briskly. Nothing to get hyper about though — there is HyperCharge to get it back up to a reasonable level literally in minutes.
…and a charger that can charge at 100W: Stuffcool Centurion
Price: Rs 5,999
If 100W is THE charging speed you covet, you can also get it from a third-party charger. The most notable of these is the Stuffcool Centurion. It comes with four ports: two USB Type-C and two USB Type-A (conventional USB). The charger can hit 100W charging speeds on each of those type-C ports, and 30W on each of the Type-A ports. However, there is a catch. The 100W power is divided across those four ports, so charging speeds will dip when multiple devices are attached to this handy gizmo. What's more, it will not deliver 100W to all devices — OnePlus and SuperVOOC devices will not charge as fast, thanks to protocol issues. Still, if you want to have one super-fast charger that can juice up several devices, ranging from phones to tablets to even notebooks at a decent clip, then this has to be one of the best options. Just remember to check if the fast-charging system of your device is supported by it. Stuffcool Centurion supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0, Samsung AFC, Samsung PPS, VOOC 1.0, Huawei SuperCharge, Moto Turbo Charge, and PD 3.0.
