Apple iPhone 16 Launch Date Announced: 'It's Glowtime' Event Set To Take Place On THIS Day In September

Apple 'It's Glowtime' event is expected to see the launch of four new iPhones - iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple has confirmed that it will hold a special event on September 9, where the tech giant is expected to reveal its latest iPhone 16 series. The event, titled "It’s Glowtime," will be hosted at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park and will commence at 10 am PT/1 pm ET (10:30 pm IST for Indian viewers), as announced in official communications as seen by ABP Live.

Apple Launch Event: What To Expect

The upcoming iPhone 16 lineup is anticipated to feature four models: the standard iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and the more advanced iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Among the standout features rumoured to be included in Apple Intelligence, a new software innovation that may be rolled out via an update post-launch.

Another rumoured feature is the introduction of a dedicated Capture button. This new physical button is expected to allow users to quickly take photos or videos and could offer force-sensitive functions for tasks like exposure control, focus adjustments, and zooming.

In addition to the iPhone 16, Apple is likely to introduce new versions of the Apple Watch. These are expected to include the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and a more budget-friendly Watch SE. Speculation also points to the possible debut of the second-generation AirPods Max and two additional AirPods models.

The event is also expected to be the stage for announcing the official release dates for Apple's next generation of operating systems, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11.

Apple September 9 Launch Event: How To Watch

The September 9 event will be available to watch live on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, and the company’s YouTube channel.
