New Delhi: Microblogging site Twitter, on Tuesday said that it will test the edit button feature in coming days with select Twitter Blue members and that it has been working on the feature since last year.

“Now that everyone is asking… yes, we’ve been working on an edit feature since last year! no, we didn’t get the idea from a poll. we're kicking off testing within@TwitterBlue Labs in the coming months to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible,” it tweeted.

Elon Musk, on Monday had revealed that he has a 9.2% stake in Twitter and hosted the poll on the long-awaited feature that the company has been working on.
