Chennai: Since PSBB teacher Rajagopalan made headlines on Monday for his miscreant acts against students, there has been a huge outcry in support of students and there were demands that the teacher should be barred from the school and should be arrested for his sexual advancements towards students.

Rajagopalan, a Commerce Teacher in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School has been arrested by Chennai police after allegations of sexual harassment. He has been booked under the POCSO Act and various sections of the IPC including 354(A), 509 IPC, 67, 67A of IT Act. In the police interrogation, the city police found out that he has deleted all his WhatsApp chats and pictures shared with the students. But, Rajagopalan has agreed to the allegations made against him. He confessed that he has sexually harassed students of PSBB. According to the sources, he also confessed that there are other teachers like him.

Earlier on Monday, alumni and students of PSBB School in Chennai accused the teacher of making sexual advances and making sexual remarks against students. Posts have gone viral on social media.

Several students and alumni of Padma Sheshadri Bala Bhavan have taken to social media to call out Rajagopalan and alleged that on several occasions he has interacted with students with sexual intent and behaved inappropriately during the class hours.

The posts have gone viral on social media and more and more students are now sharing their experiences anonymously.

Students and alumni allege that he has touched students in an inappropriate manner, with sexual intent, and also came to one of the online classes wearing only a towel. He has also been accused of sending messages to students, commenting about their clothes, and display pictures by using the WhatsApp numbers students use for their online class.

Several students allege that though they have complained about Rajagopalan multiple times to the management, no action has been taken by the school management. After this issue, the school is under the scanner.
