'Tamil Nadu Govt Fighting Continuously To Maintain Social Justice But BJP...': Stalin On Governor's Remark
Tamil Nadu CM Stalin said all states should form a social justice monitor committee like Tamil Nadu.
Days after Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi made a statement regarding social discrimination in the state, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said Dravidian movement was launched with vision of a society founded on social justice and equality. The statement of CM came after Governor said that social discrimination was still a major problem in the state. He said that the government which has been talking about social justice and made so much politics about social justice has exploited people in the name of caste.
Addressing the second conference of the All India Federation for Social Justice, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin said, "We all are fighting continuously to maintain social justice but the BJP creates a lot of obstacles to that...BJP does not want the poor, backward-class people to improve."
Further, the CM said that all states should form a social justice monitoring committee. He said, "When the DMK formed the government we formed the Social Justice Monitoring Committee which will monitor whether social justice is being properly maintained. Likewise, all states should form a social justice monitor committee."

The CM said that the DMK-led government has been committed to promoting social justice, secular politics, socialism, equality and federalism.
The DMK was working actively to promote the ideals at the national level, he said.
On Tuesday, Udhayanidhi Stalin also reacted to the remark of the Governor. The Minister said that they (DMK) say Sanatan Dharma should be abolished only to abolish untouchability.
