'Cheap Tactics, Cowardly Acts Wont Work...': PTR Responds To His Purported Audio Released As Part Of 'DMK Files'

Praising Udhayanidhi Stalin and Sabareesan, Minister PTR said, "Why Would I Say Anything Negative About Them."

After a sea of controversy erupted over the purported audio file of Tamil Nadu Finance Minister making corruption charges against TN CM Stalin’s kin Udhayanidhi and Sabareesan, Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan on Wednesday released a video calling the released audio fabricated. PTR also called the BJP's release a work of cowardice.

Sharing certain fake videos of global leaders, PTR said, "If such authentic-looking videos can be produced then imagine what all can be done with audio files. I strongly and specifically deny that I have said to any individual personally or on the phone what is intended in the audio file circulated from yesterday. Till now, nobody accepts the ownership of source of the audio. The state president of BJP has published somebody telling nobody about some others. This is the base level of his politics.”

PTR said: “Under the leadership of Stalin, we have delivered record-breaking administration in 2 years of governance in what we call the Dravidian model of governance. These achievements are also superior to the ones achieved by the Union government in the past decade. A true comparison will show true work of Dravidian model.”

“Certain forces are unable to digest these achievements so they have indulged in using advanced technology and cheap tactics like releasing fabricated audio to disrupt our good work,” he said.

PTR Praises Udhayanidhi & Sabareesan

Further, PTR said, "Udhayanidhi is hope for the next generation and has received a great reception from Tamil people. Of the many who urged his elevation based on his appeal as a youth icon, I was among the foremost. His outstanding performance has surpassed expectations. He is very much keeping in style with TN CM. How is that possible I could say anything against him?"

Similarly, all Ministers in Dravidian model government work in cohesion to achieve spectacular results. Why would I say anything negative about them, he asked.

On TN CM Stalin's son-in-law, the Finance Minister said, "Sabaresan has been most trusted advisor, guide, pillar of support. Not even the Opposition has laid criticism against Udhayanidhi and Sabareesan. Therefore. such fabricated vain videos are generated to cast apprehension on them. There is a desperate attempt by the blackmailing gang to achieve their political ambition by creating a rift against us. Such cowardly acts won't work with us. "
