Uttar Pradesh: 2 Sisters End Lives At Brahma Kumaris Ashram In Agra, Name 4 In Suicide Note
According to the police, two sisters, who were staying at a Brahma Kumaris ashram in Agra, died by suicide on Friday night.
Two sisters, who were staying at a Brahma Kumaris ashram in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, died by suicide on Friday night, news agency ANI reported, citing police. The sisters had left behind suicide notes in which they blamed four people, including an ashram employee.
ACP Kheragarh Mahesh Kumar said the district police received the information at midnight that two sisters have died by suicide in Brahma Kumaris ashram. He said that the bodies were sent to the mortuary after the police reached the spot. The police have launched a probe into the matter, and further proceedings will be done after the accused are arrested.
Speaking to ANI, Kheragarh Mahesh Kumar said, "At midnight, the district police received the information that in Brahmakumari institution, two sisters had died by suicide. The police arrived immediately, and the bodies were sent to the mortuary. Suicide notes and mobile phones have been recovered. As per the information we got from the notes, both sisters mentioned that four people, including a member of the institution, were responsible for their deaths. Police are investigating the matter. Teams have been formed for arrests. After arrests, further proceedings will be done".

In another incident, in UP's Lalitpur district, a man and a woman, both in their early 20s, died allegedly after jumping before a moving train after their families were opposed to their relationship, news agency PTI reported, citing police on Thursday.
Lalitpur SP Mohammad Mushtaque stated that Rajkumar Vishwakarma (23) and the 20-year-old woman jumped before the train near Talbehat railway station on Wednesday night.
As per the police, the two, who belonged to different communities, were in a relationship against the will of their family members.
