MP Woman Arrested For Abducting Husband's Minor Niece, 'Marrying' Her
A woman in Madhya Pradesh abducted her husband's 16-year-old niece, "marrying" her and sexually exploiting her. After being arrested by the police, she said she is lesbian.
A 24-year-old woman was arrested in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone for abducting her husband's minor niece, "marrying" her and sexually exploiting her, said a police official on Monday, according to PTI.
Barud police station in charge Ritesh Yadav said that the woman abducted the 16-year-old victim on February 27 and the two were traced and brought back last week, the report added.
Yadav said that the accused said she was lesbian and had physical relation with the man's niece. She took the victim to Dhamnod from Indore where she starting living with the victim like husband and wife.
"The victim's statement was recorded in court during the day. The accused married a man from Umarkhali village a year ago. She later had physical relations with the man's niece," he said.
"The accused has told us she is a lesbian. She had taken the victim to Dhamnod and Indore. There she started living with the victim like husband and wife," he added.
