Massive Fire At Mumbai Restaurant Leaves 1 Dead, Mall And High-Rise Vacated As Flames Spread
According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, a nearby mall and a high-rise building have been vacated due to flames, and no one has been injured.
At least one person died after a massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Kamathipura, Grant Road in Mumbai, on the intervening nights of Thursday and Friday, news agency ANI reported, citing officials.
According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, a nearby mall and a high-rise building have been vacated due to flames, and no one has been injured. The officials further said that 16 fire engines and two lines from a high-rise building are in operation.

The BMC officials further stated that charred body of one unknown person was found in the bathroom at the premises of the restaurant and was moved to J.J. Hospital in Amb 108. Enquiry about any other injured or missing person is in progress.
