‘This B-Team Tore Waqf Act In Front Of Modi’: Owaisi’s Dig At INDIA Parties, Rallies For Support In Bihar Polls

As the Bihar assembly polls approach, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has urged people to support his party in the elections.

Political leaders have started campaigning in Bihar as the assembly polls in the state is a few months away. On Saturday, AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to the people to make his party successful in the polls. Owaisi saidhat you can take money from other parties but vote for AIMIM.

Speaking at a rally in Bahadurganj in Bihar, Owaisi said that the opposition parties will come this time and call AIMIM the B team of BJP.

“It was the B team that tore the Waqf Amendment Act in front of PM Modi. You were the A team, but you did nothing. You just spoke for three minutes and sat down,” Owaisi said as quoted by news agency ANI.

Owaisi has been constantly accused of the B team of the BJP, especially by Congress leaders.

In Bihar’s Kishanganj, Owaisi also slammed Pakistan and described it as “a failed nation”, which will never let India “live in peace”.

The Hyderabad MP, while addressing a public meeting here, also urged the Centre to consider stronger steps against the neighbouring country in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, such as “putting Pakistan in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list” for “sponsoring terrorism”.

“India is and shall always remain much stronger than Pakistan… which is a failed nation. Pakistan has not been able to ensure peace among its different ethnic groups, nor does it have cordial relations with other neighbours like Iran and Afghanistan. The Modi government has rightly put restrictions on the movement of its ships and planes, but stronger steps should be considered like the FATF grey list,” Owaisi said.

Owaisi also flayed Pakistan army chief General Asim Munir over his “recent anti-India rhetoric”.

“He (Munir) should remember that Muslims living in India had rejected Jinnah in 1947, choosing to stay back and their descendants will not leave this land under any circumstances,” Owaisi asserted.
