Sourav Ganguly Health Updates: According to reports, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after suffering "chest discomfort while doing treadmill at his home gym".
BCCI boss Sourav Ganguly, one of the most iconic cricketers of India, suffered a heart attack on Saturday following which he was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata. As per the latest reports, Ganguly has undergone angioplasty and is in stable condition but will continue to remain in the hospital for next 5 days. According to reports, Dada was admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after suffering "chest discomfort while doing treadmill at his home gym".

Union Home Minister Amit Shah took Sourav Ganguly's health updates over the phone. He has previously spoken to Ganguly's wife Donna. At that time, he had assured that he would give all possible help.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at Woodlands Hospital where Ganguly is admitted.
West Bengal Governor also Jagdeep Dhankar reached the hospital to meet Sourav Ganguly. Many other political leaders also arrived at the hospital to meet him. "Mr Sourav Ganguly, 48 years old, President BCCI, former Captain of Indian Cricket team and eminent personality suffered from chest discomfort while doing tread mill at his home gym. He had family history of IHD Ischemic heart disease. When he came to the hospital at 1pm, his pulse was 70/min, BP 130/80 mm of Hg and other clinical parameters were within normal limits," Dr Rupali Basu, Woodlands hospital MD and CEO, said in a statement. "His ECG showed hyper acute ST segment elevation in inferior leads and lateral leads. Echo showed mild inferior wall hypokynaesia with preserved overall left ventricular function. He is stable haemodynamically.
