Ravi Shastri Gets Trolled For Posting Picture With 'One Of India’s Greatest'
Coach Shastri on Thursday took to twitter to share a picture with Kumble when the two met at Kolkata's iconic Enden Gardens during India vs Bangladesh pink-ball Test
New Delhi: Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri got heavily trolled on social media for posting a picture with former India coach Anil Kumble. Coach Shastri on Thursday took to twitter to share a picture with Kumble when the two met at Kolkata's iconic Enden Gardens during India vs Bangladesh pink-ball Test. Shastri used the caption: “Great to catch up with one of India’s greatest – Anil Kumble”.
Several reports stated that Kumble resigned as team India’s head coach in 2017 because some players including Captain Virat Kohli felt his style to be 'intimidating'. Ravi Shastri, since then, has been the head coach of Team India.
Fans starting trolling Shastri soon after the 57-year-old shared post.
"Thanks for tagging Jumbo Sir ....else I would have dozed off," a fan tweeted.Great to catch up with one of India’s greatest - @anilkumble1074 ???? ???????? pic.twitter.com/frO9XsuE71

The Indian pace bowling attack trio of Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly to ensure India’s historic win against Bangladesh in first-ever D/N Test at Kolkata. Speaking on team India's brilliant run in the past few months after a disappointing end to the 2019 World Cup campaign, Shastri said: "For me, the intensity shown by this team is fabulous. The way they have bounced back after those 15 minutes in Manchester. That was a bitter pill to swallow and hurt one and all. But then, the ferocity and intensity they have shown after that in the last three months is unbelievable. This is remarkable and that is why I say if you look back 5-6 years, this will have to be one of the most consistent Indian teams ever across all formats." Virat & Co. is now all set to take on Windies in the 3-match T20I and 3-match ODI series, slated to begin from December 06.????????????
